LT Ventilated Air Clutch and Brake

LT is an oilfield clutch. The LT is used primarily on drilling equipment manufactured in China, Russia, and Romania. The LT is interchangeable with Drawworks Lanzhou LS®, Honghua® and Upetrom® products. Manufactured to transmit torque through its sidewalls, absorbing shock loads and vibration to protect the drive components from the transmission. The rate at which the air tube is pressurised directly affects the rate at which the torque increases. The neoprene rubber tube formulation also reduces the effects of torsional vibrations. The flexible design allows the tube to compensate for minor misalignment and axial movements of the shaft.
